When I hear music by The Cure, I think of Liberality. So it seems perfectly appropriate that over the weekend, Liberality invited me to be a DJ on Blip. Oh my word. I could spend hours over there picking out songs to play.
I tell you this because (1) I love Liberality, just stone cold love her, but I love her even more for thinking of me when she was adding friends to Blip and (2) I'm quite certain that, like me, you need another thing tugging at your psyche and derailing your time management plans.
I am trying to keep my Blipping to a minimum. One song a day? Two? Fifteen? I suppose it's going to depend on the day. Anyway, the following song is my (first) Blip of the Day. I'm sharing it with you now because I love the video.
You've gotta admit, it's far superior to that other song by Hall and Oates.
Blip on, music lovers!
Hey, she (libeality) picked me, too. Cool!
ReplyDeleteVery wild, and yes better than H&O!
ReplyDeleteBeing Blipped is a good thing, and thanks for listening to my picks Lisa and Mathman. but I am majorly under the weather, so I have lagged in putting up new music lately.

ReplyDeleteWhat with twitter, the blog, trying to just edit what I have written in the way of fiction, trying to heal myself, Book Bloging, et al, I'm too pooped to blip. One of these days, though.
ReplyDeleteI cannot even look at your youtube video because I am at home right now and it's dial-up :(

ReplyDeleteNeko Case is the serious shit. I mean, really. LOVE her.
ReplyDeleteI signed up - picked one song...but haven't really figure it all out yet. Maybe after this tax crunch is over, I can take the time to get it all straightened out. I may seek advice.
ReplyDeleteWell you've sucked me into it, you online social networking vampire! ;)
ReplyDeleteCool! Vocally, she reminds me of Natalie Merchant.
ReplyDeleteShowing my age again!

Oh man, Neco...Excellent pick.
ReplyDeleteNow I have to go entertain that other thing I needed to do - Blip sounds like something I'll completely love. Thanks (?!)
Liberality got me too - and I love it. I love to Tweet my Blips on Twitter! When will I ever have time to do anything now? ;-)
