Thank You for the Wearable Art, Pt. 2

My friend Linda sent me more lovely earrings which I'm modeling so unprofessionally above. You can contact Linda at Spotted Moose Jewels for more information and to see the designs she has displayed. She custom makes each pair. I asked her to make something special for The Dancer for prom and she's agreed do to so. Thank you, Linda. I know those earrings are going to be fabulous!

You can click on the pictures to enlarge and get a good look at the earrings.

I don't know if I've ever shown you this, but I've also received another stunning piece of wearable art from another friend, susan, an artist who lives in the Pacific Northwest, She sent me this silk, hand painted purse that I carry my iPod in. Everytime I see it, I think of susan and her beautiful, dreamy paintings.

You can click on those pictures to enlarge them, too.

I don't know if susan would make and sell these pieces, but you should certainly visit her blogs for more of her art and delicious stories. In fact, she has another one displayed today.

Thank you, Linda and susan for the gorgeous gifts. What a wonderful way to share your talents!

  2. I'm no poopie head, Pido. I too have earrings to model and give thanks for. But I have to take a shower first, and I'm on a mission to save water. Oh the conflict.

  3. You three are my favorite friends! Thank you Lisa for displaying your new earrings. I am taking new pictures of the new earrings I have made over this weekend. Hopefully I will get them posted to the blog by tomorrow.

I have found the perfect findings to make the Dancer's fabulous prom earrings.

    Have a wonderful evening.

  4. That's too cool - how blogging has created this circle of friends.

Those earrings almost want to make me re-pierce my ears, but then again, construction is a funny business...

And Susan's art is some of the most uplifting I've ever seen, and even more so for having a sense of the woman behind them.

Thanks for pimping them both here, they're totally deserving!

I highly enjoyed your facial expression in the picture with the green earrings. Good eyebrow!
