Adventures in Real Parenting: No Matter What You Call Her....

The Baby...Cupcake...Resident Evil...Garbo...RezE....Sophia...she leaves elementary school behind tomorrow. I'm a bit stunned that we'll no longer have a little kid in the house.  Of course, as far as she is concerned, we haven't had a little kid in the house for a long time.

A couple of days ago, she mentioned that she doesn't really want to grow up.  I told her there was no rush.......

May middle school be easy on you, kid.

Love,

Mama

  4. I'm glad her growing up has been a part of my life for these past few years. And she'll do fine in middle school, she comes from a good background.

  9. Middle school years are the worst, I've discovered, especially for girls, as they enter that "mean girls" phase. Moriah has had a bit of a rough go, and I am actually looking forward to her moving on to high school if only because then, I do hope, the whole social scene becomes something a bit less problematic.

Congrats, Sophie - and to you and Doug, too.

  10. Sophia reminds me a lot of a little girl at my school - she is younger but a similar hot ticket!

I love that collage. How'd ya do that? :-)

She is a cutey-pie. Looking more and more like her older sister, facially. Watch out! :-D

  13. Since you've no doubt equipped her with a supply of James Bond-ian weaponry, I'm sure she'll do just fine.
