Buy-Her: My First Music Review
Long time readers know that I am a huge fan of music. All kinds of music. I've had an opportunity to combine my love of music with my love of writing and so I'm doing music and book reviews at Buy-Her.com.
My first foray is right here. You know me, though, it's hardly a straight up review. I couldn't do thinky and high-minded if I tried. So I don't. But I don't think you'll be disappointed. While you're there, please click around and read the other varied reviews of all kinds of things.
Now I have to go get busy with my work in progress before it totally breaks up with me. It's been one of "those" weeks. How's your week? Did you get mooned last night?
I'll be back here tomorrow. I'm going to update you on my Odyssey Away From Obesity. Riveting stuff indeed.

My First means there's going to be a My Second, yes?
ReplyDeleteReviewing is like the art itself, there are no rules, just write what you dig, though next time, please provide sheet music and an essay detailing the chord changes as they relate to the English pastoral tradition, sheesh.
Almost forgot, no, I didn't get mooned, but my wife gave me the finger. Does that count?
ReplyDeleteI did get mooned last night! But I did it to myself, whilst backing unwittingly into the exercise room mirror. It was kind of scary.
ReplyDeleteDidn't get mooned, but I got a bit loony with my malbec friend!
ReplyDeleteI think they might be my next iTunes pick. Thanks, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteRandal - I love your wife's sense of humor. And yes, there will be more reviews. I might even do a book review if I can manage to sit my ass down and finish a book. Lately I'm too loopy, apparently.
ReplyDeleteChord changes and the English pastoral tradition? Sounds like a job for Henry Purcell Man to me.
Fragrant Liar. I've seen your butt. Through shorts, I mean. It is not scary. Not even close.
kkryno - You and that Malbec. I'm jealous!
You're welcome kkryno! I really love their music.
ReplyDeleteWhat's this about getting mooned? I love it that you'll be doing music reviews -- left a comment over there.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, it's all about the banjo. Loved them. Once I am out and about again I will be searching for this cd. Thanks Lisa and I will look forward to more reviews.
ReplyDeleteI was FULL mooned, thanks to being outside during the Autumnal Equinox. My mood has suffered desperately because of it, too.
ReplyDeleteWork stress and ENDLESS HOURS OF SOUL SUCKING MATH couldn't possibly be the cause. Nope.
DEFINITELY the full moon.
can't wait and i am off to listen and snoop about. xoxox
ReplyDeleteThis moon showed me her moon. I am still recovering from her impact.
ReplyDeleteHey, this looks like a great avenue for the music stuff, and I loved the review! Gave us a flavor of YOU and your music taste, plus the fabulous review--liked them!
ReplyDeleteOh, and... I was probably the one mooning *shifty*
ReplyDeleteI like them, Lisa. If death metal is not extreme enough for bathrooms, listen to Rush and picture his face at the bottom of the bowl. That helps with weight loss too.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun, you energetic and multi-talented woman.
ReplyDeleteIf you find an exercise for wrinkles on your Odyssey, please let me know.
