Today I drove in the rain and did the weekly shopping. Tomorrow I sing at a funeral and make a pot roast to share with friends. (Carrots and onions, but no potatoes for these friends). Hopefully there is some booze in my future as well, but not too much. I'm not an old soak.
Writing, coffee, and sunshine---I am envious. I've got writing and coffee (and cloudiness)---then teaching all day. It'll be a good one, anyway (a day off tomorrow!).
I love love LOVE the photo of your reflection in the computer. It looks like the perfect day and it reminds me of the writing retreat I took a few years ago. I wrote out on the porch and drank amazing coffee and gazed out at a little pond. Bliss, I tell you. BLISS.
Given when you posted that, I was outdoors (on the beach) with my phone on that Friday. Actually, I used my iPad on the beach, too. Does that count? ;-)
Kinda the same over here too! Except I think it's a tit bit chillier up here...
ReplyDeleteCan I come over????
ReplyDeleteI see you!
ReplyDeleteI seem to want a real home these days - one with a nice porch overlooking a garden. Silly me. Never satisfied :-)
ReplyDeleteRemember to stop internetting after your third pina colada.
Right now there's a whole lotta grey and it's beginning to rain.
ReplyDelete- Jazz
I'm so proud of you!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to write...I'd get nothing done there but drink wine.
ReplyDeleteBack inside at a WORK computer, now that my family has gone back up north.
ReplyDeleteWe had a lot of Outside Time while they were here, and we took many pictures.
It's supposed to rain here DAILY for the next week, so I'll likely be staying inside for a while.
I hope to be writing more, though.

ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! I would love to be sitting across the table with my laptop.
ReplyDeleteWell, I won't be going to see any movie starring Natalie Portman, of that, I'm sure. Seriously, why does she keep to get making movies?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Sunshine! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteNot in NYC. A world of rain today. A world of rain called for tomorrow. And Tuesday. And Wednesday. And....you get my drift. Enjoy the sun.
