I doubt that when our founding fathers chose to fight for freedom from tyranny, they did so in order to provide a nation where each industry, aided by its purchased politicians, could hold us stagnant for their benefit and profit alone while these United States miss so many more opportunities for greatness.
On this day, let us celebrate the many ways in which our freedom has allowed us to achieve greatness, but let us never lose sight of the fact that we have been, can be so much better than we are right now.
